Pieta was a popular art style around the 15th century that focused on the grieving Mary (thanks to the art history student, a museum employee, for sharing this additional info.). | This memorial is located on private property. You can get a hint of it from across Kažella (caffe bar) which is open year-round; but, to see it in its totality, take the stairs on the right, then walk left on the hill about midway. (If you don't know it's there, you're more likely to miss it.) |
